Overview
A family with residence in Austin, TX, is seeking a professional, experienced, engaging, and active full-time Nanny for a 6-month-old boy. Flexibility with scheduling is required for this position due to the nature of the responsibilities and varying family/travel schedules. However, the set schedule is six days a week, from 7 am to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday (Saturdays can be 7 to 4 pm). The candidate must be able to work 24-hour shifts, nights as needed, and ability to travel with the family. Candidates must have high-level communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to collaborate with other team members daily to ensure household operations are flowing seamlessly.

Primary Responsibilities
-Bottle preparation.
-Change diapers, empty and refill diaper bin.
-Refill diaper bag in stroller daily.
-Clean up toys and organize play areas daily.
-Daily developmental activities. Two thirty-minute increments daily. (Reading, blocks, flashcards, numbers, art).
-Wash and fold laundry and bedding.
-Trim nails weekly or as needed.
-Read books and engage in stimulating and developmental activities daily.
-Exploring new activities, music, and TV shows. Keeping the child learning and engaged throughout the entire day.
-Listen to music and encourage development through sensory activities.
-Clean up any messes and leave home in an orderly fashion at the end of the day. Must check off all items on the household checklist.
-Being very active outdoors daily. (Walks, stroller rides, trips to the park, exploring)
Any other responsibilities outlined by the principals.

Job Requirements
-Must have a track record of working long hours, with working moms, and have at least 10 years of working experience with children ( we will not consider young candidates who have just taken some NCS course).
- Should be able to start in August as soon as possible.
- Experienced with both babies and toddlers
-3+ years of working in a luxury private residence.
-Must have newborn experience.
-A background in early childhood education is considered an asset.
-Must be legally authorized to work in the USA (No sponsorship).
-Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
-Ability to anticipate the needs of the family.
-Trustworthy and flexible with a can-do attitude.
-Willing to maintain high levels of privacy.

Certificates/Licenses
-Full driving license and a reliable vehicle is required.
-Must have CPR & First Aid certificate, or be willing to obtain.
-Infant Training

Additional information
-This is a full-time role.
- Set schedule is six days a week 7 am-6 pm Monday-Saturday (Saturdays can be 7-4 pm). The candidate must be able to work 24-hour shifts, nights as needed, and ability to travel with the family.
- If it is a relocation, we can give them accommodation in our guesthouse for free for the first 4 weeks as long as they do not mind two cats, Bear & Daisy, that stay there.


Salary
-Rate $40-45 per hour; given there are 64-66h per week and the occasional need for overtime, it adds up to $135-150 000 USD range; the opportunity to get a healthcare stipend for insurance of $3000
