Overview
An energetic, reliable, and organized Housekeeper is required for a large residence in the Rosedale area of Toronto, ON, Canada. This is a permanent, part-time, live-out role. Full-time hours may be available for the right candidate. The required hours are 12 pm-8 pm Friday and two other days ideal for the hired employee. The couple has no children or pets and travels approximately five months out of the year. They are seeking someone to help with housekeeping, simple cooking, and meal preparation for lunch and dinner.

Primary Responsibilities
-Detailed cleaning of the residence, such as vacuuming, mopping the floors, dusting, etc
-Keeping the residence tidy and organized, such as putting items away, wiping, and organization, etc
-Full laundry cycle, ironing and closet organization, and bed preparation
-Trash and recycling management
- Simple gardening, such as planting flowers in urns and flower boxes
- Basic outdoor tidy-up outside of what the hired outdoor maintenance workers complete
-Other duties may be required

Job Requirements
-3+ years of working in a housekeeping role is required
-Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (No sponsorship)
- Basic in English. The family speaks some Spanish.
-Ability to anticipate the needs of the family
-Trustworthy and flexible with a can-do attitude
-Willing to maintain high levels of privacy

 

Certificates/Licenses
- A driver's license and vehicle are not required for this position. The family has a car available for errands, or there is a supermarket within reasonable walking distance

 

Additional information
-Schedule: Friday 12 pm-8 pm and two more days suitable to the hired employee
