Overview
Luxe Staff is currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and organized Family Assistant to provide support for a family of four residing in the Lawrence Park area of Toronto, Ontario. This is a permanent, full-time, live-out position primarily requiring weekday availability. The responsibilities entail housekeeping, meal preparation, and chauffeuring the children to and from school and extracurricular activities. The children necessitate transportation assistance to and from their educational institution and activities. There is minimal childcare assistance beyond transportation. Children are 11 & 14

 

Primary Responsibilities 

- Ensuring thorough cleanliness of the residence

- Providing transportation for children to and from school/activities

- Maintaining and improving organization and tidiness within the residence

- Full laundry cycle and wardrobe management

- Oversight of garbage and recycling procedures

- Assistance in meal preparation

- Organization of mail, packages, etc.

- Management of household product inventory

- Execution of various errands as necessary (household organization, shopping, dry cleaning, pick up/drop off, etc.)

- Arranging for vehicle maintenance with mechanics

- Occasional management, scheduling, and supervision of vendors

- Fulfilling miscellaneous duties as required

-Willingness to accompany and assist family at seasonal residence an asset

Job Requirements
-Experience working in a similar role in a private residence is required

-Must be comfortable driving a large SUV

-Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work standards

-Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (No sponsorship)

-Fluency in English, both verbal and written
-Must be flexible in their job duties and willing to accept and embrace change 

-Must exercise discretion and always maintain confidentiality

 

Certificates/Licenses

-Full G driver's license and clean driver's abstract required

-A reliable vehicle is not required, however is considered a strong asset
 

Additional information

-Schedule: Monday to Friday

 

Salary
-$70,000-80,000 annually. Salary is commensurate with experience and candidate qualities/capabilities

-As soon as the right person for the role is found & available
