Executive Housekeeper (Live-In)

Overview
A dependable, experienced, and well-organized Housekeeper with cooking skills is needed for a family residing in a penthouse condominium in Downtown Toronto, ON, Canada. The position is full-time and permanent. Live-in candidates are preferred, but live-out options are also available for the suitable applicant. 

 

Primary Responsibilities

-Detailed cleaning of the residence 

-Maintaining and improving the overall tidiness and organization of the residence

-Assist in meal preparation, reheating food, plating, and serving meals
-Drive the employer to meetings and accompany her to appointments when needed

-Food preparation for the children (well-balanced, healthy meals & snacks)
-Full laundry cycle and bed preparation

-Managing household product inventory and shopping lists

-Running of errands and grocery shopping
-Trash and recycling management

-Other duties may be required


Job Requirements
-3+ years of working in a private residence or similar role

-Intermediate cooking skills are considered an asset
-Warm nature and comfortable around children
-A genuine love for dogs required (two chihuahuas in the home)

-Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (No sponsorship)
-Fluent in English, both verbal and written

-Ability to anticipate the needs of the family
-Trustworthy and flexible with a can-do attitude
-Willing to maintain high levels of privacy 

 

Certificates/Licenses

-Full G driver's license and a clean driving record are required
 

Additional information

-Accommodation provided; private room with private bathroom in an expansive condominium 

-Parking provided

-Schedule: 40 hours per week
