Overview
An experienced, attentive, and warm Nanny or Early Childhood Educator is required for a family in the Bridle Path area of Toronto, ON. This is a permanent, full-time, live- out role with predominantly weekday hours. Flexibility is required.

The family consists of two adults and two children. The working schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30am to 8:00pm with the potential for the Saturday schedule to differ. ECE license is required. Driving is needed. Can work with the child on learning English, Reading, Math, and Crafting.

Primary Responsibilities

-Complete care and supervision of young children, in a safe, creative, and nurturing environment
- Accompanying the child to sleep at night

-Plan and organize age appropriate activities
-Organize and participate in various activities at home and outdoors

-Assist with before and after school care and routine 

-Organize arts & crafts, indoor games, etc.

-Stimulate/promote a healthy and active lifestyle

-Attend appointments, activities, and classes
-Drive to appointments, activities, etc.

-Teach good manners and appropriate social behaviors

-Support in feeding the child

-Organizing the child’s environment, as needed

-Light housekeeping duties
-Other duties from time to time

Job Requirements
-3+ years of working in a private residence in a similar capacity
- Degree in Early Childhood Education is required
-A genuine passion for children, their well-being, and their development
-A self-starter, who takes initiative, and can recognize duties and tasks that need to be completed, without instructions or reminders

-Ability to travel with the principles is considered an asset
-Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (No sponsorship)
-Fluent in English, both verbal and written
-Trustworthy and reliable
-Capable and willing to maintain high levels of privacy

Certificates/Licenses

-Full Driving license and a clean driving record is required

-Child/Infant CPR certificate /or willing to maintain one

Additional information

-Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 11-8pm 
-Possibility of travel, however it is not not necessary
- A uniform (top) will be provided
- Regular health insurance to be provided after three month probationary period

Salary
$95,000 annually. 

Salary is commensurate with experience and candidate qualities/capabilities
